Check out these 1 hour totals for 7PM today! My eyes may deceive me, but that looks like 4 INCHES of rain in Troy! There was lots of bad flooding downtown with storm drains overflowing and dirt and crap washing over the road.

Purely by coincidence, last night I observed two spectacular meteors streak through the evening sky. One was really cool, it lasted between 1 and 2 seconds and was low/large enough for me to see it shedding debris with a trail of smoke/water vapor(?)...
